The prayer burdens of the church in NYC for the week of 12/17/2024

1. The upcoming semiannual training in Anaheim (December 23-28) and all the local video trainings--The general subject will be Experiencing, Enjoying, and Expressing Christ (2); let us pray for the Lord's anointing on the speaking of the messages, the speaking brothers, the health, travel and protection of all the saints, and the services supporting the training, particularly the audio and visual service, both in Anaheim and in all of the localities carrying out a video training

2. Thanksgiving to the Lord for all the young people, college age saints and young adults--Let us pray that each one would "flee youthful lusts, and pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart" (2 Tim. 2:22) and that they may be "blameless and guileless, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverted generation" and "shine as luminaries in the world" (Phil. 2:15) as they face the attack of the enemy in this dark age

3. The citywide young people's meeting being held this upcoming Saturday in Hall 1

4. The Lord's move in various localities throughout the earth, both in the United States and abroad:
    a. That the Lord would provide the funds for the construction of the new meeting hall in Atlanta, GA 
    b. The need for a new meeting hall in Orlando, FL
    c. The need for a new meeting hall in Ann Arbor, MI
    d. The need for a meeting hall in Lisbon, Portugal

5. The strengthening of all the meetings and practical services in the church this week

6. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

1. El entrenamiento semianual que se avecina en Anaheim (23-28 de diciembre) y todos los entrenamientos por video locales—El tema general va a ser Experimentar, disfrutar y expresar a Cristo (2); oremos por el ungir del Señor sobre el compartir de los mensajes, los hermanos que comparten, la salud, el viaje y la protección de todos los santos, y los servicios que apoyan al entrenamiento, en particular el servicio de video y audio, tanto en Anaheim como en todas las localidades llevando a cabo un entrenamiento por video

2. Acción de gracias al Señor por todos los jóvenes, santos de edad universitaria y los adultos jóvenes—Oremos que cada uno “[huya] de las pasiones juveniles y [siga] la justicia, la fe el amor y la paz, con los que de corazón puro invocan al Señor” (2 Ti. 2:22) y que ellos puedan ser “irreprensibles y sencillos, hijos de Dios sin mancha en medio de una generación torcida y perversa” y resplandezcan “como luminares en el mundo” (Fil. 2:15) mientras se enfrentan al ataque del enemigo en esta era oscura
